- Revised New Evidence Code Pre-Filed for 2009 Legislature
Legislation to revamp the Evidence Code has been prefiled in the House of Representatives as HB 24. If enacted, the 129 page Bill would replace the current Title 24 on January 1, 2011. HB 24 was introduced by Representative Wendell Willard (R-Sandy Springs), who co-chaired a Joint House-Senate Study Committee on the Evidence Code with Sen. Preston Smith (R-Rome).
