About NBPA

Founded in 1983, the National Black Prosecutors Association (NBPA) is the only professional membership organization dedicated to the advancement of African-Americans as prosecutors. NBPA has a membership comprised of both elected and line prosecutors. In addition to prosecutors, its membership includes law students, former prosecutors, and law enforcement personnel.

About the Conference

NBPA is hosting its 36th Annual Conference in Atlanta from July 14th – July 20th, 2019.  The Conference is the largest gathering of African-American prosecutors in the country, providing education and leadership through its intensive week long Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program, and multi-disciplined networking. In addition to providing a stellar CLE program, the Conference also includes a one-day Domestic Violence Symposium, Job Fair, and Youth Empowerment Summit. The Conference is the NBPA’s signature event to support its mission of recruiting, retaining, and uplifting African-American prosecutors.
