Assistant Solicitor General
The Carroll County Solicitor’s Office has an immediate opening for a full-time, county paid Assistant Solicitor-General.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to reviewing and evaluating misdemeanor cases, preparation of cases for motions and trial, representing the State in all stages of court proceedings, plea negotiations, and performing additional tasks relating to the function of the department as assigned by the Solicitor.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or awaiting bar results.
A criminal history background check and drug screening will be required for any successful candidates.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
