Victim Witness Advocate
The Southwestern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office is currently accepting resumes for a Victim Advocate to serve primarily in Lee County, Georgia, beginning on or about October 1, 2020.
Responsibilities include assisting victims of crime through the judicial process to include: court hearing notifications, assistance with victim’s compensation claims, accompaniment to court hearings, advisement of the Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights and the steps of the judicial process, and various other responsibilities related to victim advocacy.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred applicants will have a background in criminal justice or social services, along with excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to help others.
All candidates will be subject to a criminal history background check, driver’s history check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.

Salary range is expected to be $25,000-$29,000 annually. The selected candidate will be eligible for state employment benefits.
