Assistant Solicitor General
The Spalding County Solicitor General’s Office is seeking applicant interested in a position as an Assistant Solicitor General. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing cases for trial, meeting with defendants or defendant’s attorneys, witnesses and victims, researching and preparing briefs on legal issues and representing the State of Georgia in all stages of court proceedings.
Preferred Qualifications: Applicants must be members of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing. Applicants offered the position will be subject to a criminal background check and will be drug tested. Prior prosecution or courtroom experience is preferred, but is not required.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000
