Spalding County Solicitor-General’s Office
The Assistant Solicitor General position is responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor violations in the Spalding County State Court. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the investigation and preparation of cases for trial, representing the State in all stages of court proceedings, and performing additional tasks relating to the Solicitor General’s office as assigned by the Solicitor General.
Preferred Qualifications: Applicants must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and be admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
All candidates are subject to a background check. Applicants selected for hire will be subject to fingerprinting, a criminal history background check, a motor vehicle driver’s history check and pre-employment drug screening. Employment shall be contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of each such investigation.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000
