Thank you for your interest in attending the Family Violence Training. The Prosecuting Attorney’s Council of Georgia in cooperation with the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council presents: Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Investigation of Sexual Assaults, and Effective Report Writing.
This FREE program is specifically designed to bring together police officers, victims’ advocates, and prosecutors in your area to learn and discuss the latest strategies and techniques for investigating and prosecuting Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault related offenses that occur in your jurisdiction. You will also earn 6 CLE, POST or Victims’ Advocate hours. If you are requesting CLE hours, there is a fee. The amount will be listed on the CLE form. Please mail the CLE form and check to PAC.
Training sessions may include:
- Evidence Based Prosecution
- Forensic Interviewsor or Sexual Assault Investigations
- Hearsay Exceptions or Criminal Protective Order
- Report Writing
- Strangulation
Your safety is our concern. Space is very limited to allow physical distancing. Masks will be required when attendees are in the office or training space. On site staff will also be limited. Temp checks will also be required at the door. The training space will be cleaned with a fogger before and after the training. If you have concerns or are not feeling well, please do not attend.
