Animal Crimes Investigation and Prosecution

The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia along with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office invites prosecutors and law enforcement to attend the Animal Crimes Training.
The training will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The training will be held at the Mike Daniel Recreation Center in LaGrange, Georgia. It offers CLE hours and/or POST hours.
Topics of the Training will include:
– Animal Cruelty and Dog Fighting Investigations/Prosecutions
– Link between Animal Abuse and Other Violent Crimes
– Case Preparations
– Courtroom Presentation
Law Enforcement, Animal Control Officers, and Attorneys/Prosecutors/Judges are all welcome to attend this free training.
