Elder Abuse Training – Warrenton

According to the National Council on Aging, “Approximately 1 in 10 Americans aged 60+ have experienced some form of elder abuse. Some estimates range as high as 5 million elders who are abused each year. One study estimated that only 1 in 14 cases of abuse are reported to authorities.”
This 3 hour training is designed to be an overview of investigating and prosecuting elder abuse with a specific emphasis on physical abuse and financial exploitation. An additionally topic of interest during the training will be the basics of elder abuse prosecution.
This training will provide 3 POST, CLE or Advocate credits.
