Identifying and Responding to Stalking – Webinar
The Georgia Anti-Stalking Workgroup was created this year to improve the statewide response to this crime, beginning with a year-long training initiative. PAC is kicking off this initiative with a two-day virtual training, Identifying and Responding to Stalking. Jennifer Landhuis, Director with Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center (SPARC), will join us for two days to discuss the basics of stalking. This seminar session will explore the dynamics of stalking, focusing on the highly contextual nature of the crime by discussing common tactics used for perpetrators, stalking’s co-occurrence with domestic and sexual violence, risk assessment and safety planning, the use of technology to stalk as well as tools to plan for victim safety and hold offenders accountable.
