Augusta Judicial Circuit
Assistant District Attorney
The Augusta Judicial Circuit is seeking a gifted lawyer and trial advocate for the position of Assistant District Attorney. You will be joining a team of 60 employees in the Augusta, Georgia, office and manage a standard felony caseload. If you have prior experience with special victim’s cases, homicide cases or complex multi-defendant cases, you may quality for one of our Senor Assistant District Attorney positions.
The start date is flexible between now and June 30, 2025. The salary is competitive with any prosecution position in metro Atlanta.
Exemplary negotiation and litigation ability is required, as you will be working to resolve, or take to trial, those complex felony cases that impact our community. Professional management skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a curious intellect are all desired abilities.
All applicants must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or with another state’s bar association that is eligible for reciprocity for admittance to the State Bar of Georgia. You must also be admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals. All applicants must have at least three (3) years of experience in trial advocacy, preferably with felony cases.
