Bibb County Solicitor-General
The purpose of this job is the prosecution of misdemeanor violations in the State Court of Bibb County and Macon-Bibb County Municipal Court. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the investigation and preparation of cases for trial, representing the State in all stages of court proceedings and performing additional tasks relating to the function of the department as assigned by the Solicitor General.
Education: Juris Doctorate required. Member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
Experience: Two or more years in similar position or sufficient experience to perform principal duties and responsibilities preferred. Internship, third year practice in law, law journal and/or participation in Moot Court will be considered towards experience.
