Opioid Project Case Manager

The District Attorney’s Office of the Cobb Judicial Circuit is accepting resumes for an Opioid Project Case Manager role.

This is a grant funded position. Grant expires September 30, 2022. The goal of the Opioid Project is to combat the opioid epidemic in Cobb County through convening a multi-agency, interdisciplinary collaborative group of key stakeholders to improve system response, law enforcement response, and data collection. These objectives are implemented through fatality review, wrap around and case management services for offenders, streamlined investigations, and comprehensive research efforts. The Case Manager is responsible for leading the County’s Opioid Fatality Review Team (OFR), the purpose of which is to review opioid related fatalities and near fatalities to determine any areas of system improvement and providing case management services for identified offenders.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, psychology, criminal justice or related field. Supplemented by a minimum of two years of experience working in criminal justice, addiction services, gerontology, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.

Salary Range: $43,213.86 per year not negotiable
