Douglas County Solicitor-General’s Office


The Douglas County Solicitor-General’s Office has an immediate opening for an Investigator. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, investigations to gather evidence used in the accusation and prosecution of misdemeanor offenders. This includes working with other law enforcement agencies, locating and subpoenaing victims and witnesses, and performing additional tasks assigned by the Solicitor.

Minimum Qualifications:
– Law Enforcement experience and P.O.S.T certification
– HS diploma/GED
– Must have and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s license
– Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major field of study in a related discipline
– Three years of professional related work experience in investigations, victim assistance, social services, or related criminal justice field

A criminal history background check and drug screening will be required.

Salary Range: $43,564.01 – $45,848.82 plus full benefit package
