Executive Assistant to the District Attorney
Performs a variety of general office duties; answer phone, greets clients and visitors, provides assistance. General office skills and computer proficiency are essential to this position. Maintain accounts receivable/payable and make deposits. Reconcile monthly statements. Assist with budget planning to include grant funded accounts. Filing and maintaining office records. Coordinate interview appointments and assist in Interviewing prospective employees and interns. Responsible for purchasing supplies and equipment for all circuit offices. Coordinate training for employees. Receive, file, prepare orders and maintain forfeiture files for the circuit; enter and update information into Tracker Case Management system. Comply with several annual audits.
High School Diploma or GED and two years of professional experience providing clerical support in a legal, administrative business, or professional environment. College preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications: Applicant must be capable of multi-tasking, work well in a team environment, common sense, good people skills, initiative, and integrity, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess a strong sense of personal and community responsibility. Candidates must also have a willingness to take on additional duties to meet the needs of the office.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
