Training and Development Specialist 1

The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia has a  position to work under general supervision of the Training Director and Training Manager, provides support in a variety of operational functions for training events of the State’s prosecution and law enforcement personnel.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Coordinates activities for Conferences and Trainings to include:
o Configures new registration for attendees
o Prepares course material for conference attendees
o Provides accurate and timely correspondence to training attendees
o Effectively provides verbal and/or written communications to speakers
o Conducts research and responds to inquiries within department guidelines
o Facilitates webinars for prosecutors and law enforcement
• Performs a variety of administrative duties to include:
o Answering training calls
o Imputing registration payments from various trainings and conferences
o Collecting and imputing continuing legal education (CLE) hours

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in a support role providing coaching, mentoring or related job duties and knowledge of functional business area where training is to be provided.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree / Two years’ experience in any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in tech support/AV. Ability to provide excellent  customer service to internal and external customers. Ability to work independently and complete assignments as a member of a team. Intermediate-level skill in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Zoom.
