Secretary
The District Attorney’s Office of the Southern Judicial Circuit has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Thomasville Office. The position is 8-5, Monday through Friday. State benefits such as retirement, health, dental and life insurance are available with this position.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing criminal Indictments and Accusations, court calendars and other duties as directed. Typing and knowledge of common computer programs such as Microsoft Word is required, but the successful applicant will be trained on the statewide District Attorney database and software program.
Minimum Qualifications: must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent. All candidates are subject to a background check. Applicants selected for hire will be subject to fingerprinting, a criminal history background check, and pre-employment drug screening. Employment is contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of each investigation.
