Waycross Judicial Circuit
Digital Media & IT Specialist
The District Attorney’s Office in the Waycross Judicial Circuit has an opening for a Digital Media & IT Specialist. Employee would be a Ware County employee and eligible for benefits as available through the county under their policies. Employee would assigned to the Waycross office.
The following duties are normal for this position, other duties may be assigned:
– Provide professional technical design, implementation, presentation, and maintenance of multimedia exhibits and demonstrative aids and other visual aids to provide effective visual support during trials, hearings, training, etc. on behalf of the District Attorney’s Office
– Redact inadmissible portions of digital audio and/or visual recordings
– Assist with storage and backup of digital evidence and files for discovery and file retention via server file storage and Axon Justice
– Aid county IT with interoffice computer / digital media support
– Assist with Audio-Visual technology in court, meetings, and as directed
– Set up video-conferences through various platforms, such as: WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
– Regular travel is required within the Waycross Judicial Circuit (Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware), for court, meetings, training, or picking up evidence. Occasionally additional travel may be required for various training opportunities, court, or gathering evidence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Valid GA Driver’s License
– Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365
– Possess knowledge of the function of the District Attorney’s Office
– Demonstrate proficiency in a presentation software, i.e. PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, etc.
– Skilled in video and audio editing
– Thorough knowledge of computers and networking from A/V equipment to IT
Preferred Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree, or past work history, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media Design, Digital Media, or related field
– Experience in utilizing and editing in multimedia platforms, including graphic design, interactive technology, or related multimedia technology, in creating effective and persuasive visual and audio materials
Salary Range: up to $58,552, based upon experience
