An Introduction to the Sexual Offender Registration Review Board

Attendees will be given an overall review of what SORRB does and how they do it: who gets leveled, how is a level requested, what is the difference between levels, etc. The presenter will explain the difference between types of evaluations conducted by psychologists/therapists and SORRB and what is relevant to risk for sexual reoffense. In addition, there will be discussion on how to collaborate, how to make a request for information about the offender, and when should SORRB be contacted for testimony.
We will offer CLE, POST, and Victim Advocate credit for this training.
