Human Trafficking and Healthcare: Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Webinar

PAC is excited to partner with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to offer the Human Trafficking: Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Webinar. Participants will gain insight into how child sex trafficking presents in healthcare settings and how to use that knowledge to better support victims and collaborate with healthcare providers.

Topics during this webinar will include:

  • Characteristics of trafficking seen in the healthcare setting
  • Health risks related to trafficking
  • The importance of using a trauma-informed approach to care
  • Screening tolls for trafficking identification
  • Community resources available to victims

**This webinar is designed to provide an interactive learning experience, where active participation in discussions and asking questions is encouraged from attendees. Therefore, attendees will be asked to have their cameras turned on and to unmute their microphones to actively participate in discussions throughout the training. As the space for this training is very limited, we kindly request that only those who are able to actively engage during the training register for this event.
