PAC Operations Update | April 10, 2020

On April 6, 2020, Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Harold D. Melton issued an order that extends the statewide judicial emergency until May 13, 2020.

Furthermore, on April 8, Governor Kemp issued an order extending the statewide shelter in place for the State of Georgia until April 30, 2020 and extending Georgia’s public health emergency declaration until May 13, 2020. As a result, the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council has implemented the following:

  • We are extending our remote operations through April 30, 2020. PAC staff remain available remotely by phone or email to respond to requests for assistance and essential services to the prosecution community during normal business hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you need assistance, please contact us at 770-282-6300 or info@pacga.org.
  • In-person PAC training events scheduled through May 13, 2020 have been CANCELLED. All registered attendees will receive direct communication from our Training Division regarding this change. Future events remain on schedule at this time. We will continue to monitor and provide future updates as needed.

As new information emerges, we will continue to provide updates on our website, https://pacga.org/, and social media platforms, @GAProsecutors, accordingly. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
