Assistant Solicitor General
The Forsyth County Solicitor General’s Office currently has an immediate opening for an Assistant Solicitor-General.
Applicants must be capable of effectively multi-tasking and working well in a team environment, possess a positive attitude, and a strong sense of personal and community responsibility. Must be a licensed member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants selected for hire will be subject to fingerprinting, a criminal history background check, a motor vehicle driver’s history check and pre-employment drug screening; employment is contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of each investigation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience representing the State throughout the appellate process including; researching issues to be appealed, preparing and filing briefs and appearing in front of the Court of Appeals and/or Georgia Supreme Court. Admission to the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Salary Range: $77,079 – $102,130
