Assistant County Attorney

Reporting to the County Attorney, this role provides a dynamic municipal practice spanning contracts, procurement, land use, employment, open government, litigation, and legal counsel to County departments and leadership. The Assistant County Attorney will deliver practical legal guidance, support defensible decision making, and contribute to the effective delivery of public services.
The County seeks an attorney who combines strong legal analysis with sound judgment, practical problem solving, and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will bring experience or aptitude in legal research, drafting, negotiation, and litigation, along with the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for elected officials, staff, and stakeholders.

Glynn County offers a competitive salary, a strong benefits package, retirement through a Defined Contribution Plan, and up to $7,000 in relocation assistance.
