Juvenile Prosecutor
The Tallapoosa Circuit District Attorney’s Office is seeking a contract Juvenile Prosecuting Attorney to join our team.
The selected attorney will be responsible for prosecuting juvenile delinquency cases in Haralson and Polk Counties and will serve as the Juvenile Court Accountability Court Prosecutor.
Position Responsibilities:
• Prosecute juvenile delinquency cases in Haralson and Polk Counties
• Serve as the prosecutor for Juvenile Court Accountability Court
• Work closely with Juvenile Court judges, probation officers, law enforcement, victims, families, and other stakeholders
• Represent the interests of the State while promoting accountability and appropriate outcomes for juveniles
Compensation: Contract terms and compensation are negotiable based upon experience and qualifications.

Minimum qualifications: All applicants must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or be in good standing of another state’s bar association that is eligible for reciprocity admittance to the State Bar of Georgia; and be admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. All candidates are subject to a background check. Applicants selected for hire will be subject to fingerprinting, a criminal history background check, a motor vehicle driver’s history check and pre-employment drug screening; employment is contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of each investigation.
