2025 Gang Cases: From the Crime Scene to the Courtroom
The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council is excited to present Gang Cases: From the Crime Scene to the Courtroom. This event combines lectures and hands-on exercises, covering the critical phases of both gang investigations and trials.
Under the guidance of gang experts, a gang investigator and prosecutor will work together to navigate a simulated gang scenario, such as a DTO/cartel crime or other gang-related activity. This hands-on exercise will cover key tasks, including responding to and processing a crime scene, interviewing individuals, applying for a search warrant, constructing an investigative report, preparing the case, and lastly an evidence presentation.
