VOCA Training Requirements & Resources
All staff who appear on VOCA budgets must meet the following training requirements:

OVC VAT Online (All VOCA-funded and VOCA-match advocates must earn 40-hours of basic training training within the first 12 months of employment. While other courses qualify, the VAT Online is free and can be completed at your convenience)

Find Help Georgia (VOCA funded advocates should attend a 2-hour virtual workshop)

VOCA Pre-Approved Training Events for FFY24 – COMING SOON (All VOCA-funded and VOCA-match advocates must obtain 8-hours of training in victim services EACH YEAR)

CJCC Victims Comp 101 (Required EVERY TWO YEARS for all VOCA-funded and VOCA-match staff and their supervisor)

Advanced Victims Comp (Required for all designated COMP advocates and their supervisor upon completion of Victims Comp 101)

OJP Civil Rights Training Video (Civil Rights Training is required ONE TIME EACH GRANT YEAR for all VOCA-funded and VOCA-match staff)
