PAC Appoints Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit District Attorney Wallace

Morrow, GA – The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia (PAC) has appointed Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit District Attorney Shannon Wallace to serve as the newest member of the Council. Wallace was selected to fill the vacancy previously filled by former Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds who was recently appointed to serve as Director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The Council consists of nine members; six district attorneys and three solicitors-general. Wallace has served as District Attorney for the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit (Cherokee County) since 2013, having previously served as Chief Assistant District Attorney in the same office. She has nearly 17 years of prosecutorial experience.

“Shannon has served the citizens of Cherokee County passionately during her time as District Attorney,” said Council Chairman George Hartwig, District Attorney for the Houston Judicial Circuit. “The Council is pleased to have her on board.”

Shannon graduated cum laude in 1999 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  She graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2002.
