Family Violence Training – Thomson

The Prosecuting Attorney’s Council of Georgia and the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council present Family Violence Training 2026. Thank you to Toombs Judicial Circuit for hosting us!

This FREE program is specifically designed to bring together police officers, victims’ advocates, and prosecutors in your area to learn and discuss the latest strategies and techniques for investigating and prosecuting Domestic Violence, and Sexual Assault related offenses that occur in your jurisdiction. You will also earn up to 6 CLE, POST, or Victims’ Advocate hours.

*Trainings are not open to the public. Attendance is limited to staff employed by law enforcement or government agencies and non-profits assisting with family violence cases.

  • Ending the Cycle of Abuse: Evidence-Based
  • Community Collaboration Response
  • Criminal Protective Order
  • Stalking
  • Strangulation
  • Report Writing

PAC Reimbursement: The only travel reimbursements available are to the staff of District Attorneys’ Offices if approved by their elected, State requirements are met, and the funds are available. No reimbursement is available for other agencies.
